Assema, based in Kragujevac, was launched in 2005 as a subsidiary from Soenen, the leading Belgian manufacturer of custom-made machines for the sheet metal industry. Soenen stands for high-quality solutions in the field of production technology – from perforating presses to CNC punching lines, transformer core cutting lines, slitting lines and custom-made laser applications. Our team in Kragujevac is counting today 22 employees and will keep growing. Due to the expansion of our activities in Kragujevac, including the start-up of a new product in our portfolio and the building of a new factory in 2009, we are looking for a (M/F)
Project Engineer Mechanical Engineering/Automation
Function:
Reporting directly to the manager of Assema in Kragujevac, you will
give support to the whole team in order to meet the strict
deadlines for delivery of the machines. Your tasks can be very
specific and linked to any technical project (solving problems of
purchase, sub-contracting or quality) or they can be more general
improvement projects within the Assema organization. You will be
the back-up for the manager when he is travelling and at all times
the timekeeper for the planning of the projects schedules. You will
be in touch with key persons at Soenen Belgium, with suppliers and
subcontractors and with clients and of course with your own
colleagues of engineering, production and automation.
Profile:
You have an Engineering Degree in Electro-Mechanics , Mechanics or
Electronics. You are fluent in English. Experience as a Project
Manager in investment goods (if possible machine building) is
necessary. You have proven in the past to be a good communicator,
very skilled in the use of MS Excel and able to familiarize
yourself with our ERP application (Axapta). You are willing to
travel to Belgium on a regular base (bi-monthly) but most of all,
you have the technical background to assure a close follow-up of
our projects. Your background can be in design, automation or
assembly, but you can keep a helicopter view over all three
aspects.
