Innovation and customer-satisfaction have been keywords for Soenen since the company was founded in 1924. With more than 90 years of experience on the cutting edge of technology, we are able to meet the most ambitious requirements in the sheet metal market.

Romain Soenen founded the Soenen company in 1924 when he started manufacturing handmade tooling and small eccentric presses. When his son, Hubert Soenen, took over the reins, the company soon moved to batch-producing eccentric shears and press brakes.

Hubert decided to focus on specialized, tailor-made machines for the sheet metal industry. His vision was clear: Soenen comes in where other manufacturers run out of ideas.

At the end of 2016 Soenen was taken over by Motus Handling (member of the Valtech Group).

Nowadays niche markets are still the playground of our engineers. Soenen remains ready to explore where others fear to tread, and the company will find a solution where clients consider a problem insoluble.

Soenen consolidates its leading position in the production of tailor-made machines for the sheet metal industry. Our aim is to deliver high quality solutions in the field of production technology – from perforating and expanded metal presses to 3D-punching lines, cut-to-length lines.

All installations are equipped with CNC control systems and developed in-house.

As a member of the Valtech Group, Soenen has access to the resources of a strong technology driven and family owned company.

We (take) care

Our engineered solutions help the sheet metal industry to increase operating profits in a rapidly changing business environment. One of our primary goals is to ensure that clients who have invested in a Soenen installation can rely on its performance capabilities and our personal service for decades to come.

LASTING QUALITY. We strive to deliver quality and durability. Preventive maintenance is a big part of our success story. We perform systematic inspections and corrections before breakdowns occur or before they develop into major faults. On existing machines we can actualize the electric systems and software to reach better performances.

SETTING SAFETY STANDARDS. We constantly seek out opportunities to modernize and upgrade machines with respect for the safety and ergonomics of the operator. We adjust the set-up of our machines in order to reduce the risk of injuries. We always keep the safety of the operator in mind.

TRAINING. We train operators to use our machines in the safest and most effective way. We host courses and are always ready to help our clients to tackle any issue. Whenever a client engages new people we can provide the necessary support and trainings.
