Soenen is a market leader for grain-oriented electrical steel (GOES) cut-to-length lines for transformers. The sequence of cutting, notching and stacking is a complicated and sensitive production process due to its high speeds, the start-stop movements, and the use of very delicate material. This GOES or silicon metal sheets generally vary in thickness from 0.18mm to 0.5mm thick. The finished product is always the same - laminations impeccably cut with no sheet damage nor burr.

The available options range from budget-friendly models for each sheet characteristic to high-speed models where cutting capacities of up to 180 sheets per minute can be achieved.
